Dark, extremely mild chocolate –
made with cocoa beans grown by smallholder farmers in the South of West Java.
This tropical region has a hot and humid climate,
ideal for the Forastero and Criollo varieties that thrive there.
West Java has been known as a productive plantation area for coffee and tea.
The mountainous region of West Java is also a major producer of vegetables and flowers.
The soil is one of volcanic mountains merging into denser rainforest.
